Off to Burma, yes! finally back on the saddle!

First of all, I apologize for neglecting the blog for the last month or so. I feel that when I’m off the bicycle it is not worth mentioning the party days in Thailand and especially in Bangkok. This is a PG-13 blog after all!

I’m flying to Burma tomorrow and I’m not sure what the situation is with internet access. I will try my best to post as often as I can in order to make up for the ‘missing month’ in Thailand. It’s funny, at first when I started traveling I was thinking ‘Hell, time is going so slowly’. Later I was aware that weeks were passing by and now I look only at months passing by. It seems that time goes too quickly in Asia. Other long term travelers feel the same way.

Anywho, Burma should be a blast and then I’m off to Nepal to do some trekking for two months. I know about the political situation in Nepal and have been following it closely. As well I have talked to other people who came from Nepal recently and they indicate that the situation does not affect tourism.

Sorry again for being very lazy in the last month.
