Yeah I'm still alive.
Just a note to indicate that I have not vanished off the face of the earth. Although I survived a minor earthquake of which I did not find out about until I read the paper the next day.
I'm currently in Chiang Mai (yet again) slowly trying to get out of here and go to Bangkok for a few days to arrange my visa and flight to Burma and onward to Kolkata (India). Trying to get a bicycle on a bus became a headache, as it was possible three months ago but not now. Therefore I have to take the train.
Not too many exciting things have happened and I got really lazy and put on some much needed weight. It's really getting hot now days, the temperature is around 38C and rising. Sorry to see that you guys are on the opposite end of the scale. Stay warm.
Cheers for now. I'll write more once I'm back on the bike and of course if Internet is available in Burma.
